Real Madrid winger Marco Asensio is currently attracting a lot of interest from a couple of clubs this summer as reports continue to link him with a move away from the Alfredo di Stefano Stadium this summer. The Spain international attacker will reportedly not be an important part of Carlo Ancelotti’s squad this season and it looks as though he has been told that he can leave the club. Under Zinedine Zidane last season, Asensio was given the chance to prove himself as a regular starter at the club but he was not a consistent player and kept getting in and out of the team as a result, generating reports that he may not be a Real Madrid player at the beginning of the new season.
Madrid are willing to make Mbappé their next galactico signing and are said to be patient and wait to sign him next summer if they are not able to do so in this summer’s transfer window. Paris Saint-Germain know that the forward will cost a relatively low fee or could even be for free next summer when his current contract will expire but the French giants are confident that they can agree a deal with the player before then.
If Madrid sign Mbappé, it could spell the end of Asensio’s stay at the Spanish club and he could then consider making a switch to Arsenal as a result.
